Do you have a question about the Eaton 9E1000IR and is the answer not in the manual?

Overview

The Eaton 9E Rack is an uninterruptible power system (UPS) designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from common power problems, including outages, voltage sags, impulsive transients, line noise, and long-term under/over voltage conditions, frequency variations, switching transients, and harmonic distortion. It features true online double-conversion technology, offering high power density, utility frequency independence, and generator compatibility.

Function Description:

The Eaton 9E UPS operates by converting incoming AC power to DC to charge its batteries and then converting it back to AC to supply the connected load. This double-conversion process ensures a clean, stable, and continuous power supply, isolating the load from fluctuations in the utility power. In the event of a power outage, the UPS seamlessly switches to battery power, providing backup runtime to allow for an orderly shutdown of connected equipment. It can also operate in a High Efficiency (HE) mode, where the load is supplied directly by the AC source if it is within user-defined tolerances, reducing electrical power consumption. The UPS supports various operating modes, including Standby, Online, Battery, Backup End, High Efficiency, Forced Bypass, Frequency Converter, and Emergency Off.
