The DC5 is engineered for use in permanent installations. The
system includes a 12-in woofer in an optimally vented enclo-
sure and a 1.4-in exit/3-in voice coil high frequency com-
pression driver on a 90° (h) x 45° (v) dispersion constant
direc-
tivity horn. A complex asymmetrical internal passive
crossover/filter network provides subsystem integration,
ensuring coherent summation throughout the transition.
The DC5 compact, passive two-way dance club system pro-
vides high output, high definition reinforcement for small
clubs or smaller spaces within clubs. Overall design is robust
to ensure reliability in the face of continuous peak output
operation.
The DC5 is designed for overhead mounting in a horizontal
configuration to cover small dance floors or auxiliary spaces
within larger clubs. It is also very effective when used as a
high-output reference monitor in DJ booths. Its cutaway
upper-rear corner allows it to tuck up next to the ceiling
while angling its coverage down 20°. The enclosure includes
balance-optimized threaded mounting points.
Like all EAW products, it can be special ordered in virtually
any color to match a specific décor. Six year warranty.
