Notes
• Check, if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to that of your power supply.
• Prior to turning the grinder on, place the lid on the grinder.
• Do not try to pull the power cord by force, the cord is wrapped around the base at the bottom of the
appliance.
• Do not remove the lid until the blades of the grinder come to acomplete stop.
• Warning: Do not leave the grinder continuously running longer than 1 minute. This could cause
overheating and subsequent shutdown of the grinder by the thermal fuse. If that happens, let the motor
cool 10-15 minutes before you continue!
• Store the appliance out of reach of children.
Using the grinder
1. Pour the coee in the container of the grinder. Do not overll the grinder. You can use the lid of the grinder
as ameasure, the maximum portion is approx. / of the lid.
2. Put the lid on.
3. Plug the power cord in the wall outlet.
4. Hold the grinder with one hand and with the other press the power button. The neness of the grind
depends on the length of grinding. Do not grind too long to avoid burning the grind. The grinding takes
about 15 seconds with maximum load.
5. Release the power button.
6. Unplug the power cord from the wall.
7. Tap on the lid to release the ground coee stuck to the lid. Then open the grinder.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Note: Unplug the power cord from the outlet prior to any handling!
• Clean the grinder container after every use. Never immerse the grinder in water or any other liquid and do
not rinse it. You can wipe the appliance after unplugging it using moist cloth.
• Remove the lid of the appliance.
• Clean the container of the grinder using slightly moist cloth.
• Never use wet cloth for cleaning of the appliance.
