SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and save for future use!
Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and
situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be
integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this
appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage uctuation or the
modi cation or adjustment of any part of the appliance.
To protect against a risk of re or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical
appliances, including the following:
1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that
the socket is properly grounded. The outlet must be installed according to valid safety instructions.
2. For additional protection, it is recommended to install acircuit-breaker (RCD) with anominal actuating
current not exceeding 30 mA into the bathroom circuit. Please consult an electrician.
3. Do not operate hair dryer with a damaged cord. All repairs including cord replacements shall be
performed by aprofessional service centre! Do not remove protective covers of the appliance, risk
of electric shock!
4. Protect the appliance against direct contact with water and other liquids, to prevent potential electric
shock. If the hair dryer falls into water, unplug the cord from the outlet immediately.
5. Do not operate the hair dryer outdoors or in amoist environment and do not touch the cord or appliance
with wet hands. Risk of electric shock. Do not leave the hair dryer exposed to direct sunlight or other
sources of heat; the straightener can become damaged.
6. Close supervision is necessary for operating the hair dryer near children!
7. Do not leave the hair dryer blender running unattended. For safety reasons, switch o the hair dryer each
time you lay it down.
8. Do not turn the appliance on or o by plugging or unplugging the power cord. Always turn the hair dryer
o using the main switch; afterwards you may unplug the cord from the outlet!
9. Leaving the hair dryer cord connected to outlet unattended is not recommended. Disconnect the cord
from the electrical outlet prior to performing maintenance. Do not pull the cord from the outlet by yanking
the cord. Unplug the cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.
10. This hair dryer is equipped with overheating protection. If the air inlet is covered, the appliance with
automatically switch o . It will restart after ashort period necessary for the appliance to cool down. When
using the appliance, make sure the air inlet and outlet vents are clear.
11. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces or lead the cord over sharp edges. Do not turn the power cable
around the hair dryer.
12. Unplug the appliance immediately after you are done using it and let the hair dryer cool completely before
putting away.
13. Do not use accessories that the manufacturer does not recommended.
14. Use the hair dryer only in accordance with the instructions given in this manual. The manufacturer is not
liable for damages caused by the improper use of this appliance.
15. This appliance is intended for household use and similar areas, including:
appliances used by guests in hotels, motels and other residential areas
appliances used in bed and breakfast businesses
16. This appliance can be used by children ages 8 and older and by the physically and mentally impaired or
by individuals with insu cient experience and knowledge, if supervised or trained to use the appliance in
asafe manner and understand potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance operations performed by the user shall not be carried out by children, if they are not older
than 8 years and under supervision. Children under the age of 8 shall keep away from the appliance and
its power supply.
WARNING
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks or other containers holding water.
