This document describes the ECO-3180 Ozonator Plus, an air and water purifier designed for sterilization and disinfection using ozone.

Function Description

The Ozonator Plus utilizes high-frequency electricity to produce ozone (O3) from ambient air. Ozone is a powerful natural disinfectant and germicide, effective against a wide range of microorganisms.

Ozone Characteristics and Functions: Ozone is a colorless, odorless gas composed of three oxygen atoms. It naturally occurs in the stratosphere, protecting Earth from harmful UV radiation. In the lower atmosphere, it's formed by chemical reactions involving air pollutants. The device harnesses ozone's strong oxidation function to kill bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoans in water or air when concentrations reach effective levels. Natural air contains 0.01-0.04 ppm of ozone, which helps prevent the singular propagation of bacteria and mold, maintaining natural air balance. Ozone is a volatile gas and cannot be stored; it must be produced at the time of use.

Anti-Bacterial: Ozone effectively kills various bacteria, including golden grape coccus bacilli, Escherichia coli, and green pus bacilli in the air. It also eliminates these bacteria from surfaces and in water, even completely eradicating coliforms in phosphate buffer.

Anti-Viral: Ozone can destroy HbsAb by over 99.999%, hepatitis A virus (HAV) by 100% in seconds or minutes, and can inactivate influenza virus in the air. In water, it completely kills poliomyelitis virus I (PVI). Ozone water can also kill Simian Rotavirus (SA11) and human rotavirus II if the concentration in serum reaches 4mg/L.

Anti-Fungal: Ozone or ozone solution effectively kills Aspergillus versicolor, Paecilomyces, and Alternaria rot by 100%.

Anti-Protozoan: Studies indicate that ozone can kill protozoans and their eggs with a killing rate of up to 99.9%.

Air Purification:

- Ozonizes bathwater for 10 minutes (remove tube and unplug before entering the bath).
- Purifies aquariums (use ozone for a few minutes to clean bacteria).

Usage Features

Operation Instruction:

Power On/Off:
- Plug in the power cord and connect the machine to the power outlet. A red light will indicate power.
- Turn on the appliance by pressing the I/O button. The display will show "00:00".
- To pause during operation, short press the I/O button. Press again to resume.
- To turn off the unit, long press the I/O button.
Timer Settings:
- Automatic Program: Press the "TIMER" button to enter timer mode (display shows "-:-"). Use "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the desired time. The yellow (timer) light will blink. After setting, long press "00:00" to finalize the setting.
- Fixed Working Time: Repeatedly press the "TIMER" button to select from 5 preset working times: 00h10, 00h20, 00h30, 01h00, or 02h00.
- Note: First set the current time, then set the working time. The machine will work automatically.
- Adjusting Figures: Use "+" and "-" buttons to increase or decrease figures during setting.
Remote Control:
- The remote control is used to remove insulation. To replace batteries, press the tab and simultaneously extract the tray.
Connecting Accessories:
- Connect the gas outlet pipe end to the gas mouth correctly.
- For water ozonization, connect the aeration stone to the gas outlet pipe end and place it at the bottom of the water volume.
- For air purification, do not link the aeration stone.
Wall Mounting: If you intend to hang the appliance on the wall, use the special holes provided at the rear (the central opening or alternatives on the two sides).

Note on Aeration Stones: The round stone is for ozonizing water, while the cylindrical stone can be used in creams and oils.

Maintenance Features

Safety Precautions:

Attention to Security:
- For water treatment, the machine must be placed higher than the water level to prevent backflow into the machine.
- For optimal ozone production and lifespan, do not operate the appliance at excessively high temperatures (above 42°C) or high humidity.
- Handle with care; do not block the gas outlet.
- When used for sterilization/disinfection or odor removal, do not let eyes or respiratory tracts touch the ozone outlet.
- In isolated rooms without air circulation, do not use the ozone generator for too long. To avoid excessive ozone concentration, open windows to allow fresh air in.
- The safe ozone value is 0.001-0.1 ppm, which is equivalent to the natural ozone percentage. For indoor air purification, people should leave the room. Human respiratory systems should not be exposed to air with ozone density above 0.1 ppm.
- It is normal for the gas outlet pipe to turn white or yellow due to oxidation.
- When ozonizing bathwater, place the aeration stone 20-40cm deep for solubility and treatment.
- Disconnect the power supply before entering the bathtub.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Attention to Operation:
- Do not open the frame for fixing or maintaining the machine while working, as there is high voltage inside.
- In case of damage, send it to qualified technicians for repair.
- For cleaning, turn off the power, then wipe with a soft cloth.
- Do not place the machine in high temperature or high humidity environments.
Problem Solution:
- If the machine operates correctly but ozone output decreases rapidly or there is no ozone output, check if the outlet pipe is broken or folded, or if the aeration stone is blocked.
- If the machine operates correctly, and gas comes out of the pipe but there is no ozone smell, contact the manufacturer or a qualified person.
- If the machine does not work, check the power wire or plug connection. If it still doesn't work, try changing to another socket. Contact a qualified person if you cannot fix it.

The warranty is recognized by ECOGEST TRADE S.L., provided the attached card is duly filled, signed, and sent to ECOGEST TRADE S.L.
ECOGEST TRADE S.L.'s responsibility is limited to repairing technical or manufacturing defects. Return shipping costs will be covered by the seller.
All repairs under this warranty must be performed by an establishment authorized by ECOGEST TRADE S.L.
The warranty is not valid for misuse, incorrect application, or improper handling of the product.
The warranty is valid for 2 years from the delivery date.
