Why does my Eco Pure ECOP30 water taste like chlorine?
    • J
      Juan TurnerAug 15, 2025
If you notice a chlorine taste or odor in your Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems' RO product water, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the chlorine level in your water supply might be too high, exceeding the maximum limits and damaging the Reverse Osmosis membrane. If your water supply contains more than 2.0 ppm of chlorine, you'll need additional filtering before it reaches the Reverse Osmosis system. Contact your local water supplier to address this. Another reason could be that the prefilter is no longer effectively removing chlorine from your water supply, in which case you should replace the prefilter, postfilter, and Reverse Osmosis membrane cartridges.

Why is my Eco Pure ECOP30 Water Filtration Systems making water so slowly?
    • K
      Katherine GouldAug 18, 2025
If your Eco Pure Water Filtration System is producing water slower than usual, it might be due to a couple of reasons. First, the water supply to the system may not be within the recommended specifications. You may need to increase water pressure or precondition the water to meet these specifications. Another possible cause is that the prefilter or Reverse Osmosis membrane cartridges are clogged with sediment. Try replacing the prefilter cartridge. If the water production rate doesn't improve, replace the postfilter cartridge and the Reverse Osmosis membrane cartridge as well.

What to do if my Eco Pure ECOP30 water has a strange taste or odor?
    • J
      Jeremy RamirezAug 21, 2025
If you're experiencing other tastes or odors in your Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems' water, several factors could be at play. One possibility is that the postfilter has been used up, in which case you should replace the postfilter cartridge. If the taste and odor persist, try replacing the prefilter cartridge and the Reverse Osmosis membrane cartridge as well. Another cause might be contamination in the product water storage tank. In this case, you should use sanitizing procedures and replace the prefilter and postfilter cartridges. Finally, there might be system contamination, so sanitize the entire system.

Why is my Eco Pure ECOP30 making less water than usual?
    • C
      Caleb ColeAug 25, 2025
If your Eco Pure Water Filtration System is producing less water than normal, the storage tank air-charge might be lower than the recommended 5-7 psi. To fix this, open the Reverse Osmosis faucet and drain the tank until the water flow slows to a drip. Keep the faucet open and check the tank pressure. If it's low, pressurize it to 6 psi, then close the faucet to allow the tank to refill.

Why is the LED indicator light not working on my Eco Pure ECOP30 Water Filtration Systems faucet after changing the battery?
    • J
      Jennifer AndersonAug 28, 2025
If the faucet LED indicator light on your Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems isn't working after a battery change, there are a couple of things to check. First, make sure you've replaced the old battery with a new one. If that doesn't solve the problem, the battery might be installed incorrectly, so reinstall the battery, making sure it's properly aligned.

Why are there high total dissolved solids (TDS) in my Eco Pure ECOP30 Water Filtration Systems product water?
    • P
      Paige PierceAug 31, 2025
If you're finding high levels of total dissolved solids (TDS) in the product water from your Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The water supply to the system might not be within the recommended specifications, so you may need to increase the water pressure or precondition the water. Another possibility is that the drain flow control insert is plugged, so you should replace it.

Why is there continual water flow to the drain with low water production in my Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems?
    • E
      Elizabeth HansonSep 4, 2025
If water is continually flowing to the drain and your Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems is producing little to no water, it might be because the flow control insert is missing from the drain port. Make sure the flow control insert is in place.

Why is water leaking from the airgap hole of my Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems faucet?
    • P
      Phillip ScottSep 7, 2025
If water is leaking from the airgap hole of your Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems faucet, it's likely that the drain side of the faucet airgap (the 3/8” black tubing) is either plugged, restricted, or not correctly connected to the drain point. Inspect the tubing and eliminate any restrictions or plugs. Also, double-check that the drain line is properly routed.

What to do if there are water leaks at the push connect fittings of my Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems?
    • P
      Philip YoungSep 12, 2025
If you notice water leaks at the push connect fittings of your Eco Pure Water Filtration Systems, there could be several reasons. First, the tubing might not be cut square, so ensure it is. Second, the tubing might not be pushed in all the way, so push it in completely. Third, the tubing might be nicked. Remove the tube from the connection, cut off the nicked portion to shorten the tube, and reinsert it. Finally, the outer surface of the tubing might not be smooth. Remove the tube, cut off the problem area to shorten it, and reinsert it.
