PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
INSTALLATION
The WiFi Water Detector and Alarm works on all surface types, hard and soft , such
as carpet, tiles, vinyl, timber etc. When water causes the 2 sensing probes to be
short circuited, the water alarm will sound.
You can use the water alarm as a standalone device, or as part of a greater network
of ECOEY Sensors and Automstion products (when paired to the Tuya smart APP).
For example, when paired with a ECOEY Valve if the water alarm is activated, it
could automatically turn off the main water supply valve and send an alert to the
registered mobile device.
Through the Smart Phone APP you can also view live status updates such as battery
level and signal strength.
Note: This is a water detector only, it will provide early warning. It can not shut off
the water flow.
Put the blue rubber ring in the groove of the battery case, then put the battery on,
and finally put the lid on.
The following is a list of recommended locations to place your ECOEY Water Alarm.
The water alarm should be installed in any location that is at risk of damage should
a water leak occur.

• Dishwasher • Toilet
• Sinks and Tubs • Humidifiers
• Bathroom/Laundry • Ice & Water Dispenser (Fridge)
Note: Be sure that the sensing probes are placed flat on the floor
