6. Approved accessories
The Cube 800 can be used with an approved mechanical accessory, which can
be connected and disconnected directly inside the Ex-area. The hard hat and
climbing helmet mount accessories are marked with an “EX” label to enable
identication.
The following accessories have been approved for use with the device:
• Hard hat mount, EX
• Climbing helmet mount, EX
• Monopod
The monopod must be removed from its woven polyester sleeve before entering
the EX-area.
The maximum length of the monopod is 1 x , 3 x  and 1 x , see Figure 1.
