4.2  STORAGE
Duringlongperiodsofstorageofthemachineitwouldbebestto:
  Emptythefueltankoffuel;
  Lubricatethecylinderwithasuitableproduct,availableatyourreseller;
  Cleantheairfilter;
  Emptyanyresidualgasolinefromthecarburettor;
  Grease any partswith
the paint worn off bywear or impact ofthe machine and any parts where the treatmenthas
wornofftoavoidpossiblerustformation.
4.3  PRELIMINARYCHECKS
  Checkthatallofthesafetyinstructionadhesivelabelsareinorderandlegible.
  Checkthatthemachineiscleanedofplantresidueanddebris.
  Checkthatallofthesafetyguardsandgrillesareinorderandingoodcondition
Beforestartingthemotor
  Visually
 inspect for any leaks and/or defective, missing or worn parts. See to any necessary repairs before using the
machineagain.
  Checkthattheoillevelisnotbelowtheminimum:unscrewtheoilfillercaplocatedontherearofthemotor;usinga
clean ragclean off the
dipstickand screw thecap backin. Unscrewthe cap againand makesure that theoillevel is
between the two minimum and maximum marks. If the oil level is below the minimum, top up to a suitable level.

  Makesurethatallofthescrewsareproperlytighteneddown.
  Makesurethatalloftheleversareintheirneutralposition.

  Cleantheairfilterwheneverthereisfouling.
  Whenrefuellinguseafunnelwithafilterscreen,
  Openthefuelcockand,ifthemotorisequippedwithastarterdeviceonthecarburettoractivateit.
  To start the motor cold, position the gas lever in
the START position and wait a few minutes so the motor reaches
operationaltemperaturebeforetakingittomaximumspeed.
  Gripthepullstarterhandleandstartupthemotorwithastrongpull.

BOOKLET.
Beforebeginningoperationsmakesurethatnopersonoranimalorthingiswithin30metresofthemachine;thenstartupthe
machinemotor.Oncethemotorhaswarmeduptakeittoits
maximumrunningspeed.
