5.1.3.4 Power supply switch off
Storage battery should be removed before the long-term storage of the
dosimeter. Do this as follows:
- fully charge the storage battery;
- switch the dosimeter off;
- open the lid of the battery compartment;
- remove the storage battery;
Important! Do not deform, disassemble, short the poles, heat or place
the storage battery near open flame. These may result in fire, explosion or
failure of the storage battery.
- examine the battery compartment, check the contact clamps, clean the
battery compartment from contamination and contact clamps from oxides;
- make sure there is no humidity, no salt spots on the surface of the
storage battery.
