Using the Refill Packs
Use of the battery results in water loss,
which is a natural process that occurs
during degassing. At high temperatures and
with overcharging, this will process occur
faster.
You can use the included refill packs to
top up the battery and thus extend its life.
Proceed as follows:
1. Lift the top cover of the battery with a
thin metal object and then remove it.
2. Remove the six refill packs and remove
the six valve caps on the top of the
battery.
3. Using the supplied pointed plastic
stick, pierce a hole in the foil seal of
the refill pack. Insert one end of the
injection tube into the refill pack and
then insert the other end into one of
the open safety valves.
4. Gently squeeze the fluid from the
refill pack into the battery. After
refilling, close the safety valve with
the valve cap.
5. Proceed the same way with the five
remaining refill packs, using one pack
per valve openings of the battery.
6. After refilling, make sure that the top
cover of the battery is firmly in place.
7. After filling, discard the tube and
empty refill packs.
