Transporting the machine
1. Always remove the blades before carrying the machine to avoid
possible injury.
2. Keep blades out of reach of children.
3. Wrap the cord in a secure position and always use handles to
transport.
Before operation
Be certain the person who will operate the machine is mature and has
been properly instructed in both safety and operational procedures.
Blades
1. Be sure the machine is off and unplugged before installing or
removing blades.
2. Remember, these blades are sharp enough to cut floor coverings and
have the potential to cause injury to you, children and pets.
3. Do not touch or try to stop the blades while machine is in motion.
Always turn off the machine and wait for the motion to come to a
complete stop. Unplug the machine before attempting to change
blades or make any adjustement.
BLADES TO USE
For any soft floor covering material such as :
Linoleum Vinyl Tile Foam Rubber Pad Old Adhesive Linoleum and Carpet
(must be precut before scrapping operation).
9’’ Blade : (Part # 0013) To strip large surface floor areas.
5 5/8’’ Blades : (Part # 0014) To strip restricted floor areas such as stairs, cupboards, closets.
Side Blades : (Part # 0015 Left & Right) To cut the side strip of the floor covering.
For any soft floor covering material such as :
Parquet and Commercial Vinyl
5 ½’’ x 4’’ Parquet Blade : (Part # 31) To strip all surfaces areas of floors.
BLADE POSITION
The beveled edge of the blade should be :
1. DOWN (drawing # 1) when working with wood sub-floor
(to avoid penetrate the wood)
2. UP (drawing # 2) when working with concrete sub-floor

Pratiques sécuritaires :
Avant de brancher la machine, assurez-
vous que l’interrupteur est en position
d’arrêt. (Éteignez la machine avant de la
débrancher)
Tenez toujours fermement l’outil avec
les deux mains.
Garder toujours les mains à l’écart de la
lame en rotation.
Ne laissez jamais la machine en marche
et sans surveillance.
N’utilisez pas cet équipement en
présence d’enfants.
Mettez la machine en marche et veillez
à ce que les lames ne vibrent pas
excessivement, ce qui pourrait indiquer
que la lame n’est pas droite ou serrée
correctement.
Portez toujours des lunettes de
protection.
Les lames sont tranchantes et
peuvent facilement couper. Les
lames peuvent se briser et créer des
objets volants.
