Selectingasite
Thelocationofyourgreenhouseisveryimportant.Thestructureneedstogetas
muchsunlightasmuchaspossiblebutshouldnotbeexposedtohighwinds.Try
toavoidlocatingyourgreenhouseundertreesasthiswillcastshade,which
encouragesabuild‐upofalgae
andfallingbranchesorleavescouldcausedamage
tothestructureorblockguttering.Sapfromtreescanmaketheglazingstickyand
dirtysoitletsinlesslight.Creatingalevelandsquarebaseisthemostimportant
stepinsuccessfullyassemblingyourgreenhouse:selectingasitethatisalready
quitelevelwillmaketheassemblyprocessmucheasier.







Sitepreparation
PleaserefertothefrontcoverofthisbookletfortheOVERALLdimensionsof
yourgreenhouse.Ifyouaresitingthegreenhouseonearth,youwillneedtodig6
holesforthegroundanchors,asshowninSECTION0,FOUNDATION,approx.
300mmdeepx200mmindiameter.Youwillneedpostconcretefortheground
anchorsand,dependingonyoursoiltype,youmayneedplasticpipestostopthe
groundcrumblinginonitself.Ifyouaresitingthegreenhouseonslabs/concrete,
cutthegroundanchorsoffwithahack‐sawsothattheyarelevelwiththebaseas
showninSECTION8LOCATING,pic2.Tosecurethebasedownpourconcrete
intopredugholeswithgroundanchorssituatedinplace.Forslab/concrete
foundation,usingtheL‐shapedbracketsprovided,drillintotheconcrete/slabs
usinga7mmmasonrydrillbitandsecureusing8mmplugsandscrewsasshown
inSECTION10FINISHING.
