Do you have a question about the EDIFIER DWHP83 and is the answer not in the manual?
This document describes the EDIFIER 5.8G Wireless Audio Transceiver/Receiver Module DWHP83.
The DWHP83 is a 5.8GHz wireless audio transceiver/receiver module designed to be embedded into host devices such as SoundBar/Woofer or other mobile devices. It facilitates wireless audio signal transfer by automatically pairing with a compatible module and transmitting/receiving audio signals. The module incorporates a DARR83 Wireless Audio Processor and a 5.8GHz RF Transceiver. It includes embedded antennas and supports digital audio interfaces (I²S and/or S/PDIF), an I²C control interface, and 26 pins for power, digital audio, control, and GPIOs. It also features a built-in 1MB SPI interface for Flash memory.
The module has overall dimensions of 35mm (length) x 20mm (width) x 5.7mm (height), including the shield can and PCB. The PCB itself measures 35mm x 20mm. The shield can has dimensions of 35mm x 20mm x 2.89mm. The antenna is embedded within the module.
The antenna type is PCB, and the maximum peak gain is 5.36 dBi.
The module features 26 pins with specific functions and voltage levels:

The module complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. It is designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. The device must be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and your body. This device is restricted to indoor use when operated in the 5.725 to 5.875GHz frequency range.
The module also complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device. The device is exempt from routine RF exposure evaluation.
The final end product must be labeled in a visible area with the following: "Contains TX FCC ID: Z9G-EDF24". For Industry Canada, the final end product must be labeled with: "Le présent appareil est conforme aux CNR d'Industrie Canada applicables aux appareils radio exempts de licence. L'exploitation est autorisée aux deux conditions suivantes : (1) l'appareil ne doit pas produire de brouillage, et (2) l'utilisateur de l'appareil doit accepter tout brouillage radioélectrique subi, même si le brouillage est susceptible d'en compromettre le fonctionnement." The module is limited to OEM installation only.
The DWHP83 module is designed for embedding into a host device. The OEM integrator is responsible for ensuring that the end-user has no manual instruction to remove or install the module. The module is limited to installation in mobile applications. A separate approval is required for all other operating configurations, including portable configurations with respect to Part 2.1093 and difference antenna configurations.
The module is designed to automatically pair with a compatible SoundBar/Woofer or other mobile device upon power-up of the host device, simplifying the setup process for wireless audio transfer.
The inclusion of I²S, S/PDIF, I²C, and GPIOs provides flexibility for integrating the module with various host device architectures and control schemes.
To ensure continued compliance with FCC and Industry Canada regulations, any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate this equipment. If the equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
If the IC identification number is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into which the module is installed must also display a label referring to the enclosed module. This exterior label can use wording such as the following: "Contains IC: 10004A-EDF24" or any similar wording that expresses the same meaning may be used.
There is a requirement that the grantee provide guidance to the host manufacturer for compliance with Part 15B requirements.
