After refuelling, open the flue damper until the logs are well alight, this will eliminate most
of the chimney condensation and distillation products. Then adjust the damper as
required.
Periodically check that the flue pipe is not blocked by falls of soot or debris.

The glass is cleaned with a DRY cloth or tissues (Never wet). In the event of a heavy
deposit of carbon, it must be cleaned when cold with fine wire wool and an amonia based
