Troubleshooting Tips (in approximate order of likelihood)
No Beep When the Battery is Connected
• Check the polarity of the buzzer… it may be in backwards
• Bad solder joint on the processor
• Incorrect battery polarity, or bad solder joint on battery connector pads
• Bad solder joint on voltage regulator
• Bad solder joint on the 10 uF capacitors
• Bad solder joint on the 4.7K resistors
Unexpected Beeps When the Battery is Connected
• Bad solder joint and/or short on the processor
• Bad solder joint on the two 4.7K resistors
• Bad solder joint and/or short on the driver chips
