The Einova Mundus is a multi-functional device designed for simultaneous disinfection and wireless charging of smartphones and other Qi-enabled devices. It utilizes a combination of UV-C light, ozone, and titanium dioxide to eliminate 99.99% of surface bacteria and viruses.

Function Description:

The primary function of the Mundus is to disinfect items placed inside its dual chamber. It employs a "Quadruple Disinfection" method, which includes:

• One UV-C Lamp: Emits UV-C light at 264 nm, targeting the germicidal peak to damage microbial DNA.
• Two UV-C LED Lights: Also emit UV-C light, but at a slightly higher lightwave frequency, providing broader spectrum coverage and increased light pressure against microbes.
• Ozone Generation: The UV-C lamp naturally produces small, human-safe amounts of ozone, which destroys the cell walls of surface viruses and bacteria.
• Titanium Dioxide Coating: The inner chamber is coated with titanium dioxide, which acts as a catalyst, enhancing the efficacy of both UV-C light and ozone.

In addition to disinfection, the Mundus features a Qi wireless charger located on its top surface. This allows users to wirelessly charge Qi-enabled devices such as iPhone 8 and newer models, AirPods, Samsung Galaxy S8, S9, S9 Plus, and others. The device is capable of performing both disinfection and wireless charging simultaneously.

Usage Features:

To use the Mundus, first connect it to the power adapter and plug the wall charger into a power outlet.

For smartphone disinfection:

1. Place your smartphone inside the Mundus chamber.
2. Close the lid. The lid will automatically seal due to a magnetic closure.
3. Press the touch-sensitive LED indicator light to initiate a sterilization cycle.

The sterilization cycle lasts 8 minutes, with the LED indicator light providing visual feedback on its progress. The circular LED is divided into four quarters, which blink and then remain steadily ON as the cycle progresses.

• Start: First quarter blinks.
• After 2 minutes: First quarter is steady ON, second quarter blinks.
• After 4 minutes: Half of the circle is steady ON, third quarter blinks. This signifies the substantial part of the sterilization cycle is completed.
• After 6 minutes: Three-quarters of the circle are steady ON, final quarter blinks.
• After 8 minutes: The full LED circle remains steadily ON, indicating completion.

If the lid is opened mid-cycle, the UV-C lamps and LEDs will automatically turn off, pausing the cycle. The LED light will also pause its blinking and remain steady, signaling the interruption. The cycle resumes once the lid is closed again, ensuring user safety from UV-C light exposure.

For wireless charging:

1. Place your Qi-enabled device on the dedicated charging spot on the Pure surface, marked by the logo.
2. Ensure proper alignment with the charging coil for direct contact and effective charging.

The LED light remains OFF when the device is simply connected to the power supply without an active sterilization cycle.

Maintenance Features:

The manual emphasizes several safety guidelines that contribute to the longevity and proper functioning of the device, which can be considered maintenance-related:

• Handle with Care: Avoid dropping the device, as this can cause damage or malfunction.
• Protect from Extremes: Do not expose the device to very cold or very hot temperatures, as this can damage the charger and reduce its lifespan.
• Keep Dry: The product contains electronic parts; humidity and liquids can damage the electronic circuits, potentially leading to electric shock or fire.
• Avoid Physical Damage: Do not damage the charging cable, carry or drag the product by the cable, or bite/suck on the device.
• No Unauthorized Modifications: Do not disassemble, modify, or repair the product. Any alteration may void the manufacturer's warranty and increase the risk of injury. If servicing is needed, contact the manufacturer.
• Environmental Disposal: Do not throw away the product with household trash. It needs to be recycled and disposed of responsibly.

The device is designed with UV-C light protection, meaning the lamps and LEDs automatically turn off if the lid is opened during a cycle, protecting the user's eyes from UV-C exposure. Continuous exposure to UV light may cause darkening and yellowing inside the inner chamber or discoloration/brittleness of plastic materials over time, which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect sanitizing performance.
