PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
After passing,
the snow blower
leaves a layer
of snow on the
ground.
◾
The scraper bar is worn.
◾
Replace the scraper following
the section “REPLACING THE
SCRAPER BAR” in this manual.
The snow blower
throws less snow.
◾
The rubber paddles are worn.
◾
Replace the rubber paddles
following the section “TO
REPLACE THE RUBBER
PADDLES” in this manual.
◾
Auger speed may be too low.
◾
Increase the auger speed.
The auger fails to
get traction and
it requires extra
effort to push the
snow blower
forward.
◾
The rubber augers are worn.
◾
Replace the rubber augers
following the section “TO
REPLACE RUBBER AUGERS” in
this manual.
The grip area fails
to be heated.
◾
The heating function will turn
off automatically when the
snow blower is inactive for 10
minutes.
◾
Press the grip-heating switch to
restart the heating.
