Stop the machine, remove the battery, and clean the motor shaft or the trimmer head thoroughly. Alternatively, there might not be enough line on the spool, the line could be tangled in the trimmer head, or the line might be too short. Remove the battery and replace the cutting line, following the section 'LINE REPLACEMENT' in manual for EGO kit AH3810. Remove the battery and reload the cutting line, following the section 'LINE REPLACEMENT' in manual for EGO kit AH3810. Remove the battery and pull the lines while alternately pressing down on and releasing the bump head.

  If grass is wrapping around the trimmer head of your EGO Brush Cutter, it's likely because you are cutting tall grass at ground level. To prevent this, cut tall grass from the top down, removing no more than 8 inches (20 cm) in each pass.

  If the line-cutting blade on the guard of your EGO Brush Cutter isn't cutting the line, the blade has likely become dull. Sharpen the line-cutting blade with a file or replace it with a new blade.

Why won't my EGO Brush Cutter start?

  Your EGO Brush Cutter might not start due to several reasons: the battery pack may not be correctly attached, there may be no electrical contact between the machine and the battery pack, or the battery pack charge may be depleted. Ensure the battery is properly attached, check and reinstall the battery, and charge the battery pack. Also, the lock-off lever and trigger switch may not be depressed simultaneously, or the battery/brush cutter might be too hot. In the first case, move the lock-off lever up and press the trigger switch at the same time; in the second case, remove the battery pack and cool the battery pack/brush cutter. Finally, the motor could be overloaded. If this is the case, the motor will recover when the load is removed. For continuous work, decrease the load on the brush ...
