CAUSE SOLUTION
The mower does not
mulch properly
č Wet grass clippings are sticking to the
underside of the deck.
č Wait until the grass dries before
mowing.
č The mower is set to cut too much grass at
once.
č Raise the deck to a higher cutting
height setting.
There is excessive
vibration
č The cutting blade is loose. č Tighten the blade bolt.
č The cutting blade is unbalanced. č Balance the blade following the
instructions.
č The cutting blade is bent. č Replace the blade.
č The motor shaft is bent. č Contact the service center.
The handle locking
clamps cannot be
closed in position.
č The side rails are not fully extended. č Fully extend the side rails, then lock
the clamps.
