  If your EGO Lawn Mower fails to start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the battery pack is fully charged. If not, charge it. Also, confirm the battery pack is correctly mounted in the battery compartment, listening for a click. Overheating can also prevent starting; allow the battery pack or mower to cool down below 152°F (67°C). Check that the side rails are fully extended and the clamps are locked. The handle must be in one of the three operating positions. Finally, a clogged mower deck can hinder starting, so clean the deck and ensure the blade moves freely.
