  If your EGO Lawn Mower fails to start, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the battery pack is fully charged. If not, charge it. Also, confirm the battery pack is correctly mounted in the battery compartment, listening for a click. Overheating can also prevent starting; allow the battery pack or mower to cool down below 152°F (67°C). Check that the side rails are fully extended and the clamps are locked. The handle must be in one of the three operating positions. Finally, a clogged mower deck can hinder starting, so clean the deck and ensure the blade moves freely.

  If the motor of your EGO Lawn Mower works but the blade doesn’t cut grass, it could be that the blade is not tightened to the required torque. Re-tighten the blade. The recommended torque for the blade bolt is 36-43 ft-lb (49-59Nm).

Overheating can also be a factor; allow the battery pack or mower to cool down if it's too hot. Lastly, ensure the side rails are fully extended and locked in place, as they can retract during use.
