Quick Start Guide –
Charging Terminal
for EHRLE-CarWash-Key
 Unpack everything (dispose of holding carton and plastic packaging)
 Combine the power supply and plug it into the table charging station and power supply.
 Insert enclosed paper roll (outside direction display)
 Power on - small red button (top left of the keyboard)
o The charging station starts automatically with a self-test (Piep)
o The customer name according to programming appears at the top of the display.
o Further at the bottom of the display date and time
o There is a short message "Insert card / On load" = Ready for use
INITIALIZE NEW BONUS-KEY
 Take NEW or NOT initialized keys and keep them close to the display
o Possibly now comes an error message "He. 12 Card Access - Remove Card"
o This message comes when the key was to short on the display
o Solution: hold a little longer and center to the display
o Please new attempt
 The "NEW" card ID number now appears on the display
 In the middle "Add Application Successfully Completed"
o Thus, the key is initialized and works with the key readers on the respective system
BONUS LOADING ON BONUS KEY
 Take initialized keys and keep them close to the display
o Possibly now comes an error message "He. 12 Card Access - Remove Card"
o This message comes when the key was to short on the display
o Solution: hold a little longer and center to the display
o Please new attempt
 The existing key/card value is displayed
 At the top of the display, the card ID number is also briefly displayed
o Enter the desired amount using the keyboard (Attention: enter 00 by comma)
o Confirm the process with "ENTER" and immediately hold the key back to the display.
 You now have 13 seconds to transfer
 If the key is not loaded, a "piep-piep"
 the operation is then aborted
o Please try again
o When the transaction is finished get your receipt by pressing „ENTER“ 2x.

Function Description

The EHRLE-CarWash-Key Charging Terminal serves as a central unit for initializing new keys, loading credit onto existing keys, and performing internal accounting evaluations for sales data. It facilitates a seamless process for customers to add value to their CarWash keys, which are then used with EHRLE CarWash systems. The terminal uses radio transmission for key charging, ensuring efficient and reliable data transfer.

Key Initialization: New or uninitialized keys are placed near the display. The terminal performs a self-test and displays the customer name, date, and time. An "Insert card / On load" message indicates readiness. If an error message like "He. 12 Card Access - Remove Card" appears, it suggests the key was not held long enough or centered correctly. Once properly positioned, the terminal displays the new card's ID number and confirms "Add Application Successfully Completed," indicating successful initialization. The key is then ready for use with EHRLE CarWash key readers.

Bonus Loading on Bonus Key: For initialized keys, the process involves placing the key near the display. Similar to initialization, if an error message appears, the key needs to be held longer and centered. The terminal displays the existing key/card value and the card ID number. The user then enters the desired amount using the keyboard (ensuring "00" is entered for cents after a comma) and confirms with "ENTER." The key must be immediately held back to the display for 13 seconds to transfer the credit. A "piep-piep" sound indicates if the key is not loaded, and the operation is aborted. Upon successful transaction, a receipt can be printed by pressing "ENTER" twice.

Internal Accounting Evaluation: The terminal provides features for evaluating sales data, accessible via the "Menu" button. After entering a password, users can access "Sums" for a quick overview of revenues or "LOG Daten" for individual transaction evaluations.

After a short delay, individual transactions are displayed, including date, key ID, and amount. These displayed transactions can be printed.
• Reset Daily Counter: This feature allows for resetting the daily sales counter. After entering the password and navigating to "Summen" (option 11), the display shows total information. Users can view card sales totals, print sales, or press "Reset." Confirming "Reset" with "ENTER" leads to a prompt for "Resettable" or "Historically." Selecting "Resettable" and confirming with "ENTER" will display "Reset Summen" and "Resettable Continue?". Confirming again with "ENTER" deletes the revenues. "Historically" refers to non-deletable total sales. It is crucial to note that deleted sales are irretrievably lost, and no liability is accepted for data loss.
