Operators must understand all manual contents before operation.

Operate Machine with Wider Undercarriage

Landing the Machine from Open Water

Lower front attachment, use bucket if tracks slip, and face land.

Travelling the Machine in Open Water

Check for pontoon bubbles, ensure machine is balanced, adjust attachments.

Avoid Water Travelling During Bad Weather

Travel in still water only; avoid current, running streams, or strong winds.

Avoid Digging Job in Floatation Mode

Amphibious excavator is prohibited to work in floatation mode.

Digging at Recommended Water Depth

Digging in water is limited to specific depths, referring to tables.

Operate Boom, Stick, and Bucket Carefully

Operate slowly and smoothly to avoid colliding with pontoons.

Avoid Abuse Operation

Do not use travel force as digging technique to prevent structural damage.

Avoid Hammering Operation

Do not perform hammering or pilling with the bucket to prevent damage.

Beware of Power Line

Lower attachment when passing power lines on land to prevent electrocution.

Travelling the Machine

Check track tension, confirm direction, use flagman, travel on flat ground, and avoid sharp turns.

Undercarriage Maintenance

Track Tension

Check and adjust track chain tension for proper fit and avoid derailment.

Track Rollers Lubrication

Lubricate track rollers with waste oil, especially after water exposure.

Greasing

Greasing is important for wear, corrosion protection, and component life. Axle bearings need greasing every 50 hours.

Hydraulic Cylinder

Protect cylinder shafts from corrosion and damage by retracting when parked.

Hydraulic Travel Motor Gear Oil

Check and change gear oil for hydraulic travel motors every 250 hours.

Spud Piles Winch Hydraulic Motor Gear Oil

Check and change gear oil for spud pile hydraulic motors every 500 hours.

Wearing Plates

Check wearing plates thickness every 100 hours and replace if below 4mm.

Track Parts

Inspect track shoes and pins for wear every 100 hours and replace if damaged.

Pontoon

Inspect pontoons for leaks every 500 hours and test compartments with air pressure.

Hydraulic Line

Regularly inspect exposed hydraulic hoses for leaks or damage.
