  An abnormal result on the LCD display of your eks Blood Pressure Monitor can occur due to several reasons: * The cuff may not be positioned correctly or may not be properly tightened; in this case, apply the cuff correctly and try again. * Your body posture was incorrect during the test; review the instructions on proper posture during measurement and re-test. * Talking, arm or body movement, irritation, excitement, or tension during testing can cause this issue; re-test when calm and without speaking or moving. * An irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) may also cause this; note that this monitor is not appropriate for individuals with serious arrhythmia.
