    • Inspect test leads for damage before use and replace if necessary.
    • Select the proper function and range for the measurement.
    • Check the input terminal position for the red test lead based on the measurement range.
    • Remove one test lead from the circuit when changing ranges.
    • Avoid applying more than 500V between any terminal and earth ground.
    • Exercise caution when working above 60VDC or 25VAC rms due to shock hazards.
    • Switch off the power after measurement and remove the battery for extended storage to prevent leakage.
    • Do not tamper with the internal circuitry.
    • Avoid using or storing the instrument in high temperature and high humidity conditions.
  • DCV & ACV Measurement:
    • Connect black lead to "COM" and red lead to "V/OHM".
    • Read the display value; polarity of the red lead connection will be indicated.
    • For unknown voltages, start with the highest range and work downwards.
    • "1" indicates over range; switch to a higher range.
    • Never attempt to measure voltage above 1000V.
  • DCA & ACA Measurement:
    • Connect black lead to "COM" and red lead to "A" (for max 0.5A) or "20A" (for max 20A).
