In DB52X model, the doors have
an special protective varnish which
prevents fingerprints and stains.
Use a dry cloth or moistened in
warm water with mild soap and then
dry thoroughly.
Clean the condenser at the back
of the refrigerator every 6 months,
using an Electrolux vacuum cleaner
or a feather duster. Accumulated
dust prevents the correct operation
of the condenser, affecting the
refrigerator performance and
icreasing the energy consumption.
Do not use the condenser for drying clothes, dish
towels or any other utilities.
Cleaning the doors gaskets
Clean the doors gaskets carefully with a soft, damp
cloth. The gaskets are removable. After cleaning,
dry them being careful not to damage them.
Water collector
Your refrigerator has a water collector located
at the back, near the compressor (motor). The
collector’s function is
to store water from the
automatic defrost which
evaporates by heat
generated in that region.
The cleaning of the
collector is not necessary for the operation of the
refrigerator.
If you want to make the cleaning, unplug the
refrigerator of power suppley by removing the plug
from the outlet and use a damp cloth.
Before any
maintenance
operation, including
those described
in this manual,
disconnect the
refrigerator from the power by removing
the plug from the outlet.
Never clean your refrigerator with
flammable fluids such as alcohol,
kerosene, gasoline, paint thinners,
solvents or chemical / abrasive products
such as detergents, acids, vinegar to avoid
damaging your refrigerator.
After cleaning, replace the accessories
provided with the refrigerator (forms,
shelves, etc.) in their proper places inside
the refrigerator.
If a food is spilled inside the refrigerator,
wipe it immediately. Many of these foods
can damage, stain or leave with unpleasant
smell the inside surfaces of the refrigerator
if remain for long periods in contact.
Do not throw water directly inside or
outside the refrigerator.
Internal Cleaning
Before start cleaning the refrigerator, remember
that damp objects can easily adhere to extremely
cold surfaces, for example, the inner surface of the
freezer. Do not touch the cold surfaces with wet
hands, cloths or sponges.
To clean the internal parts of the refrigeraotor, use
only a cloth moistened with a solution of water and
baking soda (dissolve 1 teaspoon of baking soda
for 1 liter of water).
Never use metal scrapers, sharp objects, brushes,
abrasive or alkaline cleaners for cleaning of plastic
surfaces inside your refrigerator.
External part
To easily clean the outside of your refrigerator, use
a cloth moistened with solution of warm water with
mild soap and then dry it carefully.
WARNING
Do not remove the collector for cleaning.
