Bynow,you havealreadyremovedyourrefrigerator'sshippingcarton.Youmay
still needto usea handtruckto moveit throughclose spacesor entrances.Ifthe
refrigeratorislargerthanan entrance,considertwo options:
, Removethe entrancedoorif oneexists.
, Removethe refrigeratordoors(see howin yourUse& Care Guide).
When usinga handtruck:
, Loadrefrigeratorfromside of cabinetonly.
, Donot runretainingstrapsover handles.
, Donot over-tightenretaining straps.
, Neveruse refrigeratorhandlesto movethe refrigerator.
, Removetape from doors onlyafter unitis in place.
3 ConnectWaterSupply
What you will need:

the rear ofthe refrigeratorto your household
watersupplyline plus 7 feet(2.1 meters).
, A shut-offvalvefor the connectionbetweenyour household
waterline andthe refrigeratorsupplyline.
Donot use aself-piercingshut-offvalve.
, A compressionnutandferrule (sleeve)for the watersupply
connectionat the rearofyour refrigerator.

Toconnectthe water supplyto the rear ofyourrefrigerator:
1 Ensurethatthe refrigeratoris not pluggedin.
2 Flushthe supplylineuntilwateris clear by placingtheend of the
coppertube in a sinkor bucketand openingtheshut-offvalve.
3 Unscrewtheplasticcap fromthewater valveinlet at the rearof
your refrigerator.Discardthe cap.
4 Slidethe brasscompressionnut, thenthe ferrule (sleeve)onto
coppertube.
5 Pushthe coppertube intowater valveinlet asfar as itwillgo
(1/4inch).
6 Slidethe ferrule(sleeve)intovalve andfinger-tightenthe
compressionnut ontovalve.Tightenanotherhalfturn with a
wrench. Donot over-tighten.
7 Securethecoppertube toyour refrigerator'srearpanelwith a
steel clamp andscrew (seeillustration).
8 Coilthe excesscoppertubing(about2_Aturns) behindyour
refrigeratoras shown.Arrangecoiledtubingto avoidvibrationor
wear againstother surfaces.
9 Openwatersupplyshut-offvalveand tightenanyconnections
that leak.
4 Placein PermanentPosition
Ifpossible,usea handtruckto positiontherefrigeratordirectlyinfrontof
itscabinetenclosure.
Becareful not tomovethe refrigeratorbeyondits watersupply(copper
tubing) connections.
Pluginthe powercord, andpushthe refrigeratorstraightback into
place.
5 LevelRefrigerator&Adjust Doors(ifnecessary)
Guidelinesfor finalpositioningof yourrefrigerator:
• All four cornersof the cabinetmustrest firmly
on the floor.
• The cabinetshouldbe levelat the front and rear.
• The sidesshouldtilt _A-inch(6 ram)fromfront to back
(toensurethat doorscloseand sealproperly).
• Doorsshouldalign witheach otherand be level.
All of these conditionscanbe met by raisingor loweringthe
adjustablefront rollers.
Toadjust the front rollers:
1 Openboth doorsand removethe toegrille by
unscrewingitstwomountingscrews andgentlypulling
forward(see illustration).
2 Closethe doors anduse aflat-bladescrewdriveror3/
8-inchsocketwrenchto raiseor lowerthe front rollers.
3 Ensureboth doorsare bind-freewith theirseals
touchingthe cabineton all foursides.
4 Replacethe toe grilleby fitting it intoplace and
refasteningits mountingscrews.

RemoveInternalShippingMaterials
Electroluxuses packingfoam andtapeto securethe internalpartsof yourrefrigeratorfor shipping.Oncethe
refrigeratorisin position,you canremovethismaterial.
