11.2 The washing and drying results are not satisfactory
Problem Possible cause and solution
Poor washing results. • Refer to "Daily use", "Hints and tips" and the
basket loading leaflet.
• Use more intensive washing programme.
• Activate the 加强漂洗 option to improve the wash‐
ing results of a selected programme.
• Clean spray arm jets and filter. Refer to "Care and
Cleaning".
Poor drying results. • Tableware was left for too long inside the closed
appliance. Activate AirDry （空气对流干燥） to set
the automatic opening of the door and to improve
the drying performance.
• There is no rinse aid or the dosage of rinse aid is
not sufficient. Fill the rinse aid dispenser or set the
level of rinse aid to a higher level.
• The quality of the rinse aid can be the cause.
• We recommend to use rinse aid always, even in
combination with multi-tablets.
• Plastic items may need to be towel dried.
• The programme does not have the drying phase.
Refer to "Programmes overview".
There are whitish streaks or
bluish layers on glasses and
dishes.
• The released quantity of rinse aid is too high. Ad‐
just the rinse aid level to a lower level.
• The quantity of detergent is too high.
There are stains and dry wa‐
ter drops on glasses and
dishes.
• The released quantity of rinse aid is not sufficient.
Adjust the rinse aid level to a higher level.
• The quality of the rinse aid can be the cause.
The interior of the appliance
is wet.
• This is not a defect of the appliance. Humid air con‐
densates on the appliance walls.
Unusual foam during wash‐
ing.
• Use the detergent designed specifically for dish‐
washers.
• Use a detergent from a different manufacturer.
• Do not pre-rinse dishes under running water before
putting them in the appliance.
Traces of rust on cutlery. • There is too much salt in the water used for wash‐
ing. Refer to "The water softener".
• Silver and stainless steel cutlery were placed to‐
gether. Do not put silver and stainless steel items
close together.
