OVEN TROUBLESHOOTING

Oven not heating enough Foil trays on bottom of oven Remove foil trays
A timer function is activated Refer timer functions

Clock flashing on display Power interruption Reset the time
Unit smoking when first used Protective oils being removed Turn grill on high for 30mins and
then oven on 200º for 1 hour
Functions and temperature appear
on display but oven does not work
Oven is in ‘Demo’ mode Exit Demo mode
When the door is open the fan stops This is normal operation
When a non fan mode is selected the
oven fan starts
The fan is used to help the oven get to
the selected temperature as quickly as
possible
The light stays on when the door is

Shelf or telescopic runner slides out

Oven cavity is not level with the ground Perform a check using a level to
verify cause (refer to installation
section). If not level refer to installer
Limescale residue on base of oven Residual minerals from evaporated
water
Follow the procedure for cleaning
the cavity well. There may be some
minor residual marks after cleaning
If there is a problem with your appliance, please check
the points listed below before calling for service. It may be
possible to avoid a call by fixing the problem yourself and
be able to continue cooking.
