17 Ins e rt th e h os e until th e catch e s click to e ngage (pre s s th e catch e s to re le as e
th e h os e ).
18 Attach th e e xte ns ion tube s * or te le s copic tube * to th e h os e h andle and noz z le
by pus h ing and tw is ting toge th e r. (Tw is t and pull apart to dis m antle .)
19 Exte nd th e e le ctric cable and conne ct it to th e m ains . Th e vacuum cle ane r is
fitte d w ith a cable w inde r. O nce th e e le ctric cable h as be e n e xte nde d, it s tays in
th at pos ition.
