This document is a user manual for an Electrolux water dispenser, available in models ES11S and ES11W. The manual provides comprehensive information on the product's function, installation, usage, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical specifications.
Function Description:
The Electrolux water dispenser is designed to provide hot, cold, and ambient temperature water. It utilizes a top-loading water bottle system. The dispenser incorporates heating and cooling systems to achieve the desired water temperatures. Some models (ES11W) also include a storage cabinet, which in certain versions functions as a refrigerator for storing food and fruits. Non-refrigerated models have a hermetic storage cabinet not intended for food storage. The appliance is equipped with separate switches for activating the heating and cooling functions. A child safety switch is integrated for hot water dispensing to prevent accidental burns.
Important Technical Specifications:
The manual details two models: FS11W (WITH CABINET) and FS10W (WITHOUT CABINET).
Both models share the following electrical and performance specifications:
- Volt-Freq.: 220-240V - 50/60Hz
- Max. power: 570 W
- Heating power: 450 W
- Cooling power: 120 W
- Cold water output: 2L/H
- Heat water output: 4L/H
- Environmental temp.: 10~38°C
- Humidity: <90%
The physical dimensions (WDH) for both models are 310343931 mm.
The net weight differs slightly:
- FS11W (WITH CABINET): 11.92 kg
- FS10W (WITHOUT CABINET): 11.08 kg
The product is designed to be used with water bottles of 10 or 20 liters capacity. It is developed for regions with an altitude of approximately 2000 meters.
Usage Features:
- Water Dispensing: The dispenser offers three water temperature options: hot, cold, and ambient. To activate heating and cooling, the respective power switches (red for hot, green for cold) on the rear side of the appliance must be pushed to the ON position.
- Hot Water: To dispense hot water, the child safety switch must be slid to the right, and the hot water button pressed simultaneously.
- Cold Water: To dispense cold water, place a cup on the water collector grid and press the cold water button.
- Ambient Water: To dispense room temperature water, place a cup on the water collector grid and press the ambient water button.
- Child Safety: A child safety switch is provided for hot water dispensing to prevent accidental burns.
- Storage Cabinet (for FS11W): Some models include a storage cabinet. If it's a refrigerated model, the cooling switch (green) must be activated. For first-time use of the refrigerating function, it should operate for at least 2 hours before placing items inside. No wet or hot goods should be placed in the cooling cabinet, and adequate space should be left for interior airflow. Non-refrigerated models have a hermetic storage cabinet not suitable for food.
- Initial Use: Before drinking any water, it is recommended to dispense and dispose of at least one quart of water to clear any dust or odors accumulated during transit.
- Power Management: If hot or cold water is not needed for a long time, the respective power switches should be turned off. The machine should not be turned on until 3 minutes after turning off the power switch.
Maintenance Features:
- Regular Cleaning: The outside of the water dispenser should be wiped regularly with a soft, clean cloth and neutral detergent. The water collector should be emptied periodically to prevent overflow.
- Internal Sterilization: The inside of the water cooler, where the water bottle is placed, and the water reservoir must be cleaned and sterilized every 3 months.
- Sterilization Procedure:
- Disconnect the appliance from the power source.
- Remove the water bottle and empty the water reservoir by pressing the buttons until no water comes out.
- Open the drainage cap at the back of the dispenser to ensure all water flows out.
- Prepare a chlorinated solution (2 liters of clean water and 0.5 teaspoon of bleach).
- Place the chlorinated solution in an empty water bottle and fill the dispenser.
- Wait 10 minutes for the solution to take effect.
- Remove all the chlorinated water through the drain.
- Fill 1/3 of the bottle with clean water, replace the bottle, and remove all the water by triggers and the drainage cap to rinse the tanks and triggers.
- Water Bottle Installation: Before placing a new water bottle, clean and sterilize the inside of the water cooler and the water bottle itself. The product has a hole punch for the bottle cap. If the user prefers not to use the hole punch, instructions are provided to remove it.
- Safety Precautions for Cleaning: Always disconnect the water dispenser from the power source before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- Prohibited Cleaners: Do not use flammable fluids (alcohol, kerosene, gasoline, paint thinner, solvents, chemicals, abrasives, detergents, acids, vinegar) or products that might leave a smell, as they can damage the product's brightness and color. The water inside the bottle must not contain chlorine additive.
