• An alarm code indicates a fault in the machine
operation (see the relevant chapter).
10“Start/Pauze - Marche/Pause” button
(Start/Pause)
This button has two functions:
• Start: after you have selected the desired
programme and options, press this button to start
the washing machine. The light above the button
will stop flashing and remain lit.
If you have selected a delay time, the countdown
will begin and will be shown on the display.
• Pause: when you press this button again, the
programme in progress is interrupted. The light
above the button will start flashing. To restart the
programme from the point at which it was
interrupted, press the button again.
When you PAUSE the cycle, and it becomes
possible to open the door, provided:
• the washing machine is not in the heating phase;
• the level of the water is not high;
• the drum is not turning.
If all these requirements are met, the door can be
opened.
11Programme progress display
By selecting the wash programme, the pilot lights
corresponding to the various phases making up the
programme come on.
After the machine has started, only the running
phase pilot light stays on.
●
Voorwassen/Prélavage (prewash): when this
light comes on this means that the machine is
performing the prewashing phase.
●
Wassen/Lavage (washing): when this light
comes on this means that the machine is
performing the washing phase.
●
Spoelen/Rinçage= rinses
●
Centrifugeren/Essorage= spin
●
Einde/Fin= end of programme
When the programme has finished, the “End” light
comes on.
The “End” pilot light flashes in the event of operating
problems. And the relative alarm code appears on
the display.

= the machine does not empty
EE4400
= the door has not been closed
