If your Electrolux Refrigerator's defrosting is failing, it could be due to an interruption in the defrosting heater. To resolve this, unplug the appliance, disconnect the heater connector, and use a tester to check the resistance value at the connector clamps. If the resistance doesn't match the technical data, the heater should be replaced. Another possible cause is open thermal protector switches. In this case, frost the battery, disconnect the power, remove the thermal switch connector, and check the resistance value at the connector clamps. If the resistance isn't 0 Ohms, replace the thermal switches.
