The monthly decalcification and cleaning process
cleans out mineral deposits in the water and coffee
delivery systems. If the mineral deposits are allowed to
build up, the coffee maker will eventually stop working
properly. The decalcification process takes about 4
minutes.
When decalcification is needed, only use the following
Electrolux approved cleaners.

The following instructions are for units with an

water filter system installed.
An
AACCCCKKIITTAA--2244
flushing cartridge is required.
1. Remove the divider insert from the flushing car-
tridge with a small screw driver.
2. Dissolve one packet of Puly Decalcifying Powder in
12 ounces of warm filtered water. Use a measuring
cup.
3. Fill the flushing cartridge with the solution and top it
off with filtered water. Reinstall the divider insert.
4. Turn the water supply on the filter head off.
5. Push the Hot Water button on the coffee system to
relieve the water pressure.
