Function Description
The Electrolux LNC8ME18S is a fridge freezer designed for storing food and beverages. It is intended for single household domestic use in an indoor environment, including offices, hotel guest rooms, bed & breakfast guest rooms, and farm guest houses, provided usage levels do not exceed average domestic use. The appliance features separate compartments for refrigeration and freezing, with independent temperature control. It incorporates features to optimize food preservation and energy efficiency.

Usage Features
- Control Panel: Located at the top of the appliance, it includes a display, temperature warmer/colder buttons for both fridge and freezer, OK button, Mode button, and ON/OFF button.
- Temperature Regulation: Users can set desired temperatures for both fridge and freezer compartments. The set temperature is reached within 24 hours and remains stored after a power failure.
- FastCool Function: Accelerates cooling in the fridge compartment, useful for large amounts of warm food. It stops automatically after approximately 6 hours.
- FastFreeze Function: Pre-freezes and fast freezes food in the freezer compartment, protecting already stored foodstuffs. It should be activated at least 24 hours before placing fresh food for freezing and stops automatically after 52 hours.
- Holiday Mode: Allows the fridge compartment to remain empty during long holiday periods, reducing bad odors, while the freezer operates normally. This mode switches off after selecting a different temperature.
- ChildLock Function: Locks buttons to prevent unintentional operation.
- DrinksChill Function: Sets an acoustic alarm for a preferred time (1 to 90 minutes) to remind users about cooling drinks or food.
- High Temperature Alarm: Activates if the freezer temperature increases (e.g., due to power failure), with flashing indicators and an audible sound.
- Door Open Alarm: Sounds and flashes if the fridge door is left open for approximately 5 minutes or the freezer door for 90 seconds.
- Movable Shelves: The refrigerator walls have runners for flexible shelf positioning. A two-part shelf can be folded to make better use of space.
- GreenZone Drawer: A pull-out drawer in the bottom of the refrigerator compartment with a device to regulate sealing and humidity, optimizing fruit and vegetable preservation.
- ExtraChill Compartment: A drawer located above the GreenZone compartment.
- MULTIFLOW Device: Equipped in the refrigerator compartment for rapid and effective cooling, maintaining uniform temperature. It activates automatically when needed and operates only when the door is closed.
- Ice-cube Production: The appliance includes trays for making ice cubes.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning:
- The interior and accessories should be washed with lukewarm water and neutral soap.
- Door seals should be regularly checked and cleaned to ensure they are free from debris.
- The appliance should be rinsed and dried thoroughly.
- Abrasive products, solvents, or metal objects should not be used for cleaning.
- The MULTIFLOW panel should not be removed, and water spray or steam should not be used for cleaning.
- Defrosting:
- The fridge compartment defrosts automatically, with condensed water evaporating from a recipient on the compressor.
- The freezer compartment is frost-free, meaning no frost build-up during operation.
- Period of Non-Operation: For long periods of non-use, the appliance should be disconnected from power, emptied of food, cleaned, and doors left open to prevent odors.
- Door Gaskets: Should be cleaned regularly. If necessary, they can be adjusted or replaced by an Authorized Service Centre.
- Lamp Replacement: The appliance is equipped with a long-life LED interior light. Only service personnel are allowed to replace the lighting device.
- Service: For repairs, users should contact an Authorised Service Centre and use original spare parts. Spare parts (thermostats, sensors, circuit boards, lights, door handles, hinges, trays, baskets) are available for 7 years after model discontinuation, and door gaskets for 10 years.
