The appliance uses isobutane (R600a) as a refrigerant, which is a natural gas with high environmental compatibility.
The refrigerator compartment is equipped with a DYNAMICAIR function, which allows for rapid cooling of food and maintains a more uniform temperature within the compartment. This function can activate automatically or be switched on manually. The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for extended periods. It is designed to be frost-free, preventing the build-up of ice on internal walls and food.
The appliance includes a control panel with a display that shows temperature indicators for both compartments, as well as various function icons. It allows users to regulate temperatures, activate special functions like FastCool and FastFreeze, and monitor alarms.
Usage Features
The LNT7TF18S offers several features to enhance food storage and user convenience:
- Temperature Regulation: Users can set the temperature for both the fridge and freezer compartments. The recommended default temperatures are +4°C for the fridge and -18°C for the freezer, with adjustable ranges between 2°C and 8°C for the fridge and -15°C and -24°C for the freezer.
- FastCool Function: This function is ideal for rapidly chilling large amounts of warm food, such as groceries, to prevent warming other food already in the refrigerator. It activates the fan automatically and typically runs for about 6 hours, or can be deactivated manually.
- FastFreeze Function: Designed for pre-freezing and fast freezing in the freezer compartment, this function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and protects already stored foodstuffs from undesirable warming. It is recommended to activate it at least 24 hours before placing fresh food in the freezer. The function stops automatically after 52 hours or can be manually deactivated.
- Holiday Mode: This mode allows the fridge compartment to remain empty during long holiday periods, reducing the formation of bad odors, while the freezer continues to operate normally.
- DYNAMICAIR Function: This feature ensures rapid cooling and uniform temperature in the refrigerator compartment. It can be activated automatically or manually. The fan associated with this function stops when the door is open and restarts upon closing.
- ChildLock Function: This function locks the control panel buttons to prevent unintentional operation, enhancing safety.
- DrinksChill Function: Users can set an acoustic alarm for a preferred time (1 to 90 minutes) to remind them to remove items from the freezer or to cool food products for a specific duration.
- Alarms: The appliance includes a high temperature alarm for the freezer compartment (e.g., after a power failure) and a door open alarm for the fridge, both with audible and visual indicators.

- Defrosting the Freezer: The freezer compartment is frost-free, meaning manual defrosting is not required.
- Period of Non-Operation: If the appliance will not be used for a long period, it should be disconnected from the electricity supply, emptied of all food, cleaned, and its doors left open to prevent unpleasant smells.
- Replacing the Lamp: The appliance is equipped with a long-life LED interior light. Replacement of the lighting device should only be carried out by an Authorised Service Centre.
