IMPORTANT
The
appliance
is
fitted
with
an
automatic
device
which
stops
the
motor
if
the
temperature
should
rise
above
acceptable
limits
due
to
malfunction.
lf
this
happens,
check
that
all
filters
and
bags
are
clean,
that
the
ball
valve
is
at
the
bottom
of
the
basket,
and
that
there
is
no
blockage
in
the
straight
rods.
The
appliance
is
fitted
with
a
float
which
cuts
off
the
suction
when
the
maximum
level
is
reached.
When
this
happens,
the
noise
level
increases
and
suction
stops.
This
means
that
the
tank
is
full
and
that
the
machine
should
be
switched
off
and
the
container
emptied.
Never
store
the
appliance
with
the
shampoo
or
dirty
water
tanks
partially
full
of
liquid.
Take
particular
care
when
the
nozzle
is
used
to
shampoo
a
surface
near
a
power
socket
or
other
electrical
equipment
connected
to
the
power
supply.
Ensure
that
the
shampoo
jet
does
not
reach
such
areas.

becomes
dirty
it
should
be
cleaned
in
running
water.
The
appliance
should not
be
used
for
the
suction
of
inflarmmatbie
substances
(such
as
petrol,
alcohol,
nitric
acetone,
kerosene
and
solvents
in
general)
and
burning
objects
(such
as
embers,
cigarette
ends
and
soot).
Nor
should
it
be
used
in
the
presence
of
explosive
gases.
