What to do if my Electromed SmartVest SV2100 Personal Care Products vest does not pulse?

  If your Electromed Personal Care Product vest isn't pulsing or the air pulse generator isn't getting power, first check if the device is in Sleep mode by looking at the Power Indicator Light. If it's on, press any button to wake it up. If it's off, ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the generator and the wall outlet, and that the outlet has power. You may also need to replace the fuses. Also, make sure the hose is firmly attached to the couplings and the generator, that it isn't leaking, and that the SmartVest® inner bladder isn't torn and is properly attached inside the outer shell. Replace the air input filter if needed. If the garment feels too tight, adjust the Pressure dial for comfort.

  If the motor temperature of your Electromed Personal Care Product is above the acceptable limit, it might be because the system is in a warm area. Try moving it to a cooler location and try again.

  If the motor temperature of your Electromed Personal Care Product is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius), leave the unit plugged in and turned on. The fan will help warm it up. The device will periodically check the temperature and automatically go to the Home screen when it's ready.
