Description of the Unit

Unit Compatibility

Voltage Selection

The required voltage is selected using the 'charging voltage switch' (1).

Charging Status Indicators

LEDs indicate charging status. Yellow LED (0%) flashes if no battery or contact.

Battery Type Selection

Use switch (5) to select between 2.4 V/cell and 2.35 V/cell for battery types.

Start-up Procedure

Charging Process

Connect clips, select voltage, observe charging indicators, switch off when charged.

Exhausted Batteries

Charger detects and carefully charges exhausted batteries, adjusting current.

Backup Mode Operation

Maintains onboard voltage during battery changes. Requires minimum load current.

Floating Mode

Ensures optimum charging and floating for unlimited periods. Handles discharge.

Fault Indication and Troubleshooting

Fault Indicator (8) Flashing

Indicates overheating or incorrect polarity. Check air outlets/intakes or polarity.

Fault Indicator (8) Steady Light

Signifies a system fault in the charger. Switch off and contact dealer.

Troubleshooting High Voltage

Check battery voltage and set switch (1) accordingly. Fault indicator extinguishes after correction.

Troubleshooting Incorrect Battery

Check battery for defective cells or incorrect charging voltage selection.
