What to do if Electronic Solutions M40RF motor does not respond?
    • S
      sanchezkevinAug 2, 2025
If your Electronic Solutions Window Blinds motor isn't responding to button presses or remote commands, first ensure the motor is receiving AC power. If the motor head displays a red double blink (blink blink...blink blink...), it indicates a defect, and you should use a different motor.

Why can't I add or administer motors on my Electronic Solutions M40RF Window Blinds?
    • C
      Carlos McknightAug 7, 2025
If you are unable to add new motors or manage existing ones (like adjusting limits) for your Electronic Solutions Window Blinds, it could be due to the Hub motor being offline or out of RF range. To resolve this: 1. Ensure motor antennas aren't touching conductive surfaces. 2. Unplug all motors except the Hub motor. 3. Reset the Hub motor to factory default and leave it powered on, waiting for it to jog twice (up to 3 minutes). 4. Reset the remote to factory default, allowing it to enter Network Search Mode. 5. The remote should automatically join the Hub and enter Setup Mode.

      Jonathan MorganAug 12, 2025
If the remote for your Electronic Solutions Window Blinds is in Setup Mode but won't control a motor already added to the network, it's possible the remote's memory is full due to adding and deleting several motors. To fix this, delete any uncontrollable motors from the network to free up memory. Follow the instructions on how to “Delete a Motor from the Network.”

What does it mean if the red LED blinks twice on my Electronic Solutions Window Blinds remote?
    • L
      laurengrantAug 16, 2025
If the red LED under the 'preset' button on your Electronic Solutions Window Blinds remote blinks twice in Setup Mode when a motor is selected, it indicates a communication error between the remote and the motor. To resolve this, delete the motor from the network and then re-add it. Follow the instructions on how to “Delete a Motor from the Network.” If you want to re-add the motor, follow the instructions on how to “Join Additional Motors to the Network.”

Why is my Electronic Solutions M40RF Window Blinds non-Hub motor not responding to the remote?
    • M
      mmartinezAug 22, 2025
If your Electronic Solutions Window Blinds non-Hub motor isn't responding to commands like UP or DOWN from the remote when its Group Number is selected, it might not have joined the network. Here’s how to resolve this: 1. With the remote in Setup Mode and active: Press the STOP button. The green LED under “preset” will flash for up to 60 seconds. 2. Clear the non-Hub motor’s network information: Press the Center button 3 times within 1 second. The yellow LED on the motor will start flashing after a 5-second delay. The non-Hub motor will jog once when it joins the network.
