Pinch the tabs to remove each Hippo.
Place each Hippo into the under-
side corners of the base. Angle
the Hippo into each side tab to
lock it into place.
Lock its neck in place by pressing
the Hippo’s tail and lifting the
neck up and onto the front tab.

For 2-4 Players / AGES 4+
ADULT ASSEMBLY REQUIRED.
Squeeze sides and gently pull the hippos
out from the tabs. Remove the bags
from the Hippo heads. Remove marble
storage cover that’s under the pond.
Attach each Hippo by sliding its
front tabs into the pond. Press
down to lock into place.
Fill each marble release area.
Place the golden marble in any
open area.
Wake up your Hippo by holding down
its tail and pulling its neck out and
downward. Press and release the tail
a few times.

How to Play Hungry Hungry Hippos

Pick Your Hippo

Select one of the four available hippos to begin the game.

Launch Marbles into the Pond

Press the designated lever to launch all marbles into the central pond.

Gobble Marbles to Win

The player whose birthday is next starts. Gobble the most marbles to win.

Bonus Game: Golden Marble

Play the same way, but the player who chomps the golden marble wins.

Storing the Hungry Hungry Hippos Game

Remove Hippos for Storage

Pinch the tabs to detach each hippo from the game base.

Store Hippos in Base Corners

Angle hippos into the underside side tabs to lock them securely in place.

Lock Hippo Neck in Place

Press the hippo's tail and lift the neck onto the front tab to secure.

Store Marbles in Center Case

Place all marbles in the center storage case until the next game.
