Assembly

Overview

The device is a hitch-mounted cargo and game cart, identified by part number #CARGO-CART, designed for versatile use in transporting goods.

Function Description:

This product serves a dual purpose: as a cargo carrier and a game cart. It is designed to be mounted onto a vehicle's 2-inch hitch receiver for transportation, and can also be converted into a trolley for manual movement. The cart features a foldable design, allowing for compact storage and ease of use. Its primary function is to assist in moving heavy or bulky items, whether attached to a vehicle or manually pulled as a cart.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Weight Capacity:
    • As a cargo carrier: 500 lbs
    • As a game cart: 300 lbs
  • Hitch Receiver Compatibility: Designed for 2-inch hitch receivers.
  • Components: The cart consists of several key parts, including:
    • Left and right carrier frames (Part #1, #2)
    • U-tube handle (Part #3)
    • Connecting swivel tube (Part #4)
    • M8*35 outer hexagon bolts (Part #5) and M8 lock nuts (Part #6) for secure connections
    • Square pins (Part #7) for locking mechanisms
    • Bottom welding assembly (Part #8)
    • Bent pins (Part #9) and hand wheels (Part #11) for locking and loosening states
    • M6 washers (Part #10)
    • Long bent pin (Part #12)
    • Protective sleeves (Part #13)
    • Solid rollers (wheels) (Part #14)
    • M3.8 split pin (Part #15)
  • Tools Needed for Assembly: Adjustable wrench and 13mm wrench.

Usage Features:

  • Versatile Operation: Can be used as a vehicle-mounted cargo carrier or converted into a hand-pulled trolley.
  • Conversion Mechanism: The cart can be transformed from a carrier to a trolley by loosening bent pins, clamping hand wheels, rotating pins, pulling square pins, adjusting the U-tube handle, and connecting solid rollers with long bar bent pins. This allows for flexible use depending on the transportation needs.
  • Secure Loading: Users are instructed to distribute loads evenly to prevent tipping and personal injury. The ramp of the carrier must be folded and secured, and the load itself properly secured, prior to transport.
  • Locking and Loosening States: The design incorporates bent pins and hand wheels that allow for locking and loosening the carrier frame to the bottom welding assembly. Rotating the bending pin to 90 degrees switches between locked and loosened states.
  • Assembly Process: The assembly involves several steps:
    1. Installing the left carrier frame with the right carrier frame, fitting the rotary shaft and axle sleeve.
    2. Inserting the U-tube handle into the left carrier frame.
    3. Connecting the swivel tube to the U-tube handle and carrier frames using bolts and lock nuts.
    4. Securing the U-tube handle to the left carrier frame with square pins.
    5. Installing the assembled carrier frame onto the bottom welding assembly, using bent pins, M6 washers, and hand wheels for secure attachment.
    6. Attaching the solid rollers (wheels) using the long bent pin, protective sleeve, and M3.8 split pin.
