15.1 Removing the protective covers
• Before performing any maintenance, the protective covers must be removed in order to reach
the machine parts or drives that require attention. Proceed as follows:
Caution :
Removing protective covers is considered to be maintenance. Consequently, the
motor must be turned off and appropriate clothing must be worn.
Caution :
Protective covers are intended to shield off dangerous areas to avoid accidents.
It is therefore strictly prohibited to operate the machine or to activate the motor
or any drive with any protective cover removed.
