Important Safety Information

The manual emphasizes several safety warnings. Users are advised to keep children under 8 years old away from the product unless continuously supervised. Only supervised individuals or those provided with safe usage instructions should operate the appliance, including children over 8, people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, and those lacking experience or knowledge. Children should not play with or clean the product without supervision. Only manufacturer-designed or recommended hob guards should be used to prevent accidents.

General Safety:

  • Do not store items on the cooking surface or combustible, explosive, volatile, or temperature-sensitive items (like paper, dishcloths, plastic bags, cleaners, or spray cans) in the oven's storage drawer, as these can ignite.
  • Unattended cooking with fat or oil on the hob can cause fire. Never use water to extinguish a fire; instead, turn off the product and cover the flame with a lid or fireproof blanket.
  • If the cooking surface is cracked, immediately turn off and disconnect the product from the mains. Do not use or touch it.
  • Keep power cords of other appliances away from the oven door to prevent damage and short circuits.

Installation Safety:

  • Ensure the floor and adjacent walls are temperature resistant to at least 90°C.
  • Do not install the product behind a decorative door, as it may overheat.
  • Remove all packaging remnants from the cooking compartment.
  • The cooker must be installed horizontally level.
  • Electrical connection must be done by an authorized technician, following local regulations.
  • Ensure the protective earth wire is properly secured.
  • For single-phase power supply, use a 3×4.0 mm² cord marked H05VV-F 3G4 or better.
  • For three-phase power supply, use a 5×1.5 mm² cord marked H05VV-F 5G1.5 or better.
  • Do not use external timers or separate remote control systems.

  • Cookware and accessible parts can become very hot. The oven door can also get very hot.
  • Do not place metal objects (knives, forks, spoons, lids) on cooking zones.
  • Use the grill only with the oven door closed, and use oven mitts or meat tongs as grill components become very hot.
  • The hob surface is resistant to temperature changes but can be damaged by falling heavy objects.
  • Keep cooking zones and cookware bottoms clean and dry.
  • Immediately remove spilled sugar or high-sugar food from a hot surface with a wipe or scraper to prevent damage. Never use detergents on a hot surface.
  • Do not use the hob as a storage area to avoid scratches.
  • Do not turn the oven temperature selector below zero to prevent thermostat damage.
  • Ensure cookware bottom fits the cooking zone diameter to prevent heat loss and damage.
  • Do not line oven walls with aluminum foil, as it hinders air circulation and damages enamel.
  • Do not place baking trays or other cookware on the oven bottom or insert the deep baking tray into the first guide.

Maintenance Safety:

  • Do not attempt repairs yourself; contact a service technician. Unauthorized repairs void the warranty.
  • A damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or authorized technician.
  • Disconnect the product from the mains before replacing the light bulb.
  • Use protection when removing an old light bulb to avoid burns.
  • Children should not clean the product without supervision.
  • Disconnect from mains before cleaning. Do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners.

  • Do not use steel wool, coarse sponges, abrasive powder, aggressive spray cleaners, descaling agents, or solvents on any surfaces, especially stainless steel, enamel, plastic, or lacquer-coated parts, as they can cause scratches, cracks, or permanent damage.
  • Thoroughly remove cleaner residue after cleaning.
  • Do not lean or sit on the open oven door to avoid damaging hinges.
  • Do not clean telescopic guides in a dishwasher.
  • Do not damage the enamel surface when replacing the light bulb.

Function Description

The Elvita CCS46405VN cooker features both a hob and an oven for versatile cooking.

Hob: The hob has a solid glass-ceramic surface with four cooking zones:

  • Front left: 21 cm, 2.3 kW
  • Rear left: 14.5 cm, 1.2 kW
  • Rear right: 18 cm, 1.8 kW
  • Front right: 14.5 cm, 1.2 kW

Cooking zones are controlled by rotating knobs, with heating power adjustable from 1 to 9. A residual heat indicator lights up when a cooking zone is hot and turns off when it cools down. It also activates if hot cookware is placed on a cool zone.

Oven: The oven offers multiple cooking modes:

  • FastPreheat: Heats the oven quickly (50-275 °C). Not for cooking.
  • Top and bottom heater: Even heat for meat or pastry at a single level (recommended 200 °C).
  • Top and bottom heater with fan: Even heat for pastry, defrosting, or drying fruit/vegetables (recommended 180 °C).
  • Large grill: For small amounts of open sandwiches, sausages, meat, or toast (recommended 230 °C).
  • Grill with fan: For grilling meat, fish, vegetables, roasting large meat/poultry chunks, au gratin dishes, or browning food to a crispy crust (recommended 170 °C).
  • Hot air: For roasting meat or baking pastries on multiple levels simultaneously with constant hot air circulation (recommended 180 °C).
  • Defrost: Circulates air without heaters to slowly thaw frozen food (e.g., cakes, pastries, bread, deep-frozen fruit).
  • WaterClean: Uses bottom heater to soften stains and food residues for easy removal (30 minutes at 70 °C).
  • AirFry: Cooks or bakes without oil/grease using hot air circulation for crispy results (recommended 200-220 °C).
  • FrozenBake: Cooks frozen food faster without preheating (e.g., French fries, lasagna, chicken nuggets, pastries, croissants, vegetables, meat) (recommended 190-200 °C).
  • Pizza: High temperature for quick baking of pizza with a juicy crust (recommended 190-200 °C).

The oven is turned on by rotating the mode selector to a cooking mode and off by rotating it to 0. Temperature is adjusted with a separate selector (50-275 °C).

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning: Regular cleaning is recommended for longevity and appearance.
    • Hob Surface: Clean with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or sharp metal scrapers. Immediately remove spilled sugar from a hot surface. Use special care products that create a protective film. Remove water stains with a mild vinegar solution (avoiding the frame). Stubborn dirt can be removed with glass-ceramic cleaners and a scraper (held at 45-60° angle). Discoloration from burnt food or unsuitable cookware is difficult to remove and not covered by warranty.
    • Glass Surfaces: Clean with glass cleaning equipment and agents. Avoid abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers.
    • Stainless Steel Surfaces: Clean with mild detergent and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
    • Enamel Surfaces: Clean with a damp sponge, warm water, and special enamel detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools.
    • Plastic and Lacquer-coated Surfaces: Immediately remove stains with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and water, or specialized cleaners. Avoid abrasive or alcohol-based cleaners.
    • Oven Cavity: Clean regularly with a damp sponge and detergent, using special enamel detergent for burned stains. Wipe dry. Clean wire guides and telescopic guides with conventional detergent. Do not clean telescopic guides in a dishwasher. Clean oven utensils with a sponge and detergent.
    • WaterClean Programme: Use to easily remove stains and food residues. Ensure the oven is cool. Pour 0.6 L of water into a baking tray on the lower guide, set the mode selector to WaterClean and temperature to 70 °C. Run for 30 minutes, then clean enamel walls with a damp cloth.
  • Replacing Parts:
    • Oven Light Bulb: Replace with a halogen G9, 25W bulb. Disconnect from mains before replacing. The bulb is a consumable item and not covered by warranty.
    • Oven Door: Can be removed for replacement or to clean glass panes. Open the door fully, raise and fold the latches of the hinges, then gently fold the door to a 15° angle and pull out the hinges. Reinstall in reverse, ensuring hinges are correctly placed.
    • Oven Door Glass Panes: Remove by first removing the oven door, then lifting supports and pulling them off the glass. Lift the lower end of the glass pane to remove it. Reinstall in reverse, ensuring semicircle markings on the door and glass pane overlap.
    • Wire Guides: Remove by pulling the bottom side out from the oven wall, then pulling them out from the upper holes. Reinstall in reverse.
    • Power Cord: If damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or authorized technician. The cooker is supplied with a mounted power cord for 400V, 50Hz socket. For fixed electrical connection, use a 4x1.5 mm² cord marked H05VV-F 4G1.5 or better.

Installation

  • Cooker Placement: Ensure the cooker is placed according to specified dimensions (min. 100mm from rear wall, 600mm width, 850-940mm height).
  • Securing to Wall: Fasten a bracket to the wall using supplied screws and anchors (or suitable alternatives for secure installation), then position and fasten the cooker to the bracket to prevent tipping.
  • Adjusting Height: The cooker's height can be adjusted from 850 mm to 940 mm. Lay the cooker on its back, unscrew screws, adjust height, and screw back in.
  • Leveling: Level the cooker by adjusting the height of the front feet and rear wheels individually. Use a spirit level to check horizontal position.
  • Mains Power Connection: Connect the plug to a 400V, 50Hz socket. For fixed electrical connection, an authorized technician must connect it using a 4x1.5 mm² H05VV-F 4G1.5 or better cord. Follow local regulations and do not use external timers.
