on the RMU
and on the
PFD and
MDF
(Transitory
condition of
Integrated
Navigation
Unit 2)
ADF
(1) Set the cursor of RMU 2 to the
ADF 2 window.
(2) Do the test of the frequency
selection:
(a) Put the cursor on the selected
frequency code.
(b) Turn the dual concentric
knobs.
A frequency code can be set.
(3) Do the self-test:
(c) Set the RMU to the ADF 2
window.
(d) Push and hold the RMU TST
function key.
On the RMU, the ADF 2
window shows:
 TEST and ADF TEST
(amber).
 TEST (amber) and ADF
PASS (green), at the end of
the test cycle.
NOTE: An ADF ERR (red) is the
indication that the selected ADF
is defective.
