1.2 Packing contents
The following parts need to be present in the packing:
• EM6555 lamp holder
• User manual
2.0 Using the lamp holder
A few short and simple steps are necessary to connect and assign the lamp holder to
the EM6500 e-Centre.
There are two situations possible:
• Assigning the lamp holder to a new e-Centre (see chapter 2.1)
• Assigning the lamp holder to an existing e-Centre (see chapter 2.2)
2.1 Assign the lamp holder to a new Eminent e-Centre
1. You assign the lamp holder to a Eminent e-Centre during the e-Centre’s initial
installation process.
2. Make sure the E27 socket, in which you want to install the lamp holder, is
switched off.
3. Screw the lamp holder into the E27 lamp socket and switch the socket on.
4. The installation wizard of the e-Centre will move along several steps during the
installation process of the e-Centre itself, meaning you can add all your
e-Domotica devices through the e-Centre’s own website ‘http://e-Centre’.
Attention! During the installation procedure you will be asked to press the button on
the lamp holder. This is needed to connect the lamp holder to the e-Centre.
2.2 Adding the lamp holder to the already installed
e-Centre
1. Make sure the E27 socket, in which you want to install the lamp holder, is
switched off.
2. Screw the lamp holder into the E27 lamp socket and switch the socket on.
3. Make sure your computer is completely started.
4. Open your computer’s web browser.
5. Type in the web browser’s address bar: ’http://e-Centre’ and press the ‘Enter’ bar
on your keyboard.
6. The e-Centre’s openings screen will be shown.
7. Click ‘e-Domotica Products’.
8. Click ‘Add’.
9. Press the button on the lamp holder.
10. Your lamp holder will be found.
