Wireless doorbell type 838W/G/R
The set consists of a push button (transmitter) and a doorbell (receiver). The bell is designed for permanent connection to a power supply of
230 V AC/50 Hz voltage. The signal between the push button and the bell is transmitted on radio waves of 433.92 MHz frequency. The signal
range depends from local conditions and it may reach up to 120 m in free space without interferences. The push button and the bell are a
rmly matched pair. The factory setting cannot be changed and no spares can be bought.
Study the user manual carefully to ensure proper use of the wireless bell.

Commissioning
Push button (transmitter)
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the front cover. Use the opening
in the upper part of the button. Insert a 12V battery into the
button. Maintain proper polarity of the inserted battery.
2. Use two screws (not included) to fasten the rear cover to the wall.
It can serve as a holder. As an alternative, it can be fastened with
the two sided sticky tape too. Before the installation, test if the
set works properly in this location. Choose a protected location
for the button, e.g. in a recess.
3. Assemble the button by tting the front part on the rear part
and snapping it in.
4. Write your name on the label under the transparent cover in the
bottom part of the button. Remove the cover by a gentle pull.
Note: The push button (transmitter) can be placed on wood or brick
walls without problems. However it must never be placed on metal
objects or materials which contain metal, e.g. plastic door and window
constructions with a metal frame inside. The transmitter may not
work properly then.
Ring bell (receiver)
1. Insert the bell into a power socket 230 V AC/50 Hz, push the
ringing button on the transmitter.
2. A blue LED diode will blink on the button and a ring tone will
sound. The ringing is accompanied with visual signalisation on
the bell.
3. The bell is paired with the button.
Selection of the ring tone, setting the sound volume
Push the A button repeatedly. After each push there will sound a
melody of a dierent sound volume. The volume will remain set on
the level of the last played tune.
You can change the ring tone any time.
Push the B button repeatedly. The last played ring tone will remain set.
Note:
1. The bell is for interior use only. It must be connected to an electric
outlet 230 V AC/50 Hz so there is free space around it and so as
to be always accessible.
2. The signal range (max. 120 m) is aected by local conditions, e.g.
the number of walls through which the signal must pass, metal
doorframes and other elements aecting the radio signal trans-
mission (presence of other radio devices operating on a similar
frequency, e.g. wireless thermometers, gate controllers etc.). Due
to such factors the broadcast range may drop signicantly.
Troubleshooting
The bell does not ring:
• The bell may be out of range.
Change the distance between the push button and the bell. The
signal range may be aected by local conditions.
• The push button may have a depleted battery.
Replace the battery. Maintain proper polarity of the inserted
battery.
• The bell has no power supply.
Check, if the bell is properly connected to the power outlet or if
the power supply is o or if a circuit breaker or a fuse has broken
the circuit.
Maintenance and care
A wireless digital home bell is a sensitive piece of electronics, so the
following measures should be followed:
• The bell (receiver) is designed only for interior use in dry envi-
ronment.
• The bell must be located in a well accessible place so as to allow
easy manipulation and detachment.
• Occasionally check the functionality of the push button and
replace the battery in time. Use only alkali batteries of the
prescribed parameters.
• If you do not use the bell for a long time, remove the battery out
of the push button.
• Do not subject the push button and the bell to excessive shocks
and vibrations.
• Do not subject the push button and the bell to excessive
temperatures and direct sunlight or humidity.
• When cleaning the bell, it is necessary to disconnect it from the
electricity supply by pulling it out of the socket.
• Clean with a mildly wet cloth with a little detergent. Do not use
aggressive cleaning aids or solvents.
