Display Description
„LO“ – Low battery.
Flat batteries should be removed immediately to prevent damage to the scale.
„Err“ – Scale overloaded – maximum load capacity is 180 kg. Leave the scale to avoid its damage.
Weighing Procedure
1. Place the scale on a at, hard and stable surface.
2. Carefully step onto the scale – the scale automatically turns on.
3. Stand still on the scale and don‘t move – after a while, the display shows the measured weight.
4. Press the UNIT button at the bottom of the scale repeatedly to set the required unit of measure – kg/lb/st. You can do this
adjustment even before turning on the scale.
5. After 20 seconds, the scale automatically turns o.
Replacing batteries
1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom side of the scale.
2. Remove the at batteries.
3. Insert two new 1.5 V AAA batteries. Make sure you observe the correct polarity. Only use alkaline batteries, not rechargeable
ones.
4. Close the cover.
Cleaning and maintenance
1. Clean the scale with a damp cloth making sure no water gets inside the scale. Keep the glass surface dry. Don‘t use chemical
detergents or detergents with abrasive eect.
2. Do not immerse the scale in water!
3. Always keep the scale in horizontal position.
4. If the scale cannot be turned on, verify that batteries are installed and that they are not low.
5. If an error occurs, or the scale cannot be turned on, remove batteries and reinstall them after approx. 5 seconds.
Safety precautions
• The scale is intended for domestic use only. Weighing animals is not allowed.
• Do not tamper with the internal electric circuits of the product, this may cause damage of the product, which will auto-
matically terminate the guarantee.
• The scale should be placed on a at, hard and stable surface (not on a carpet, etc.) away from devices producing electro-
magnetic elds to avoid interference.
• Do not use the scale on a wet surface or if your feet are wet as there is a risk of slipping.
• Prevent the scale from shocks and vibration and do not drop it on the oor.
• Only use the scale in accordance with the instructions provided in this manual. In case of failure, the product should only
be repaired by a qualied professional.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental disability or lack of
experience and expertise prevents safe use, unless they are supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use sorted waste collection points. Contact local
authorities for updated information about the collection points. If electrical appliances are deposited in waste landlls,
hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater, get into the food chain and harm your health.
