What to do if my Empire Laser Level does not turn on?

If your Empire Laser Level does not turn on, first, make sure that the batteries are correctly inserted, paying attention to the +/- polarity markings inside the battery compartment. If they are correctly installed, try replacing them with a new set, as the current batteries may be depleted. Also, the tool's internal temperature might be outside of its operating range. If the level has been stored in very hot or cold conditions, allow it to sit at room temperature for at least 2 hours before attempting to turn it on.
